You can become a part of the group that will make 300 blankets for homeless individuals!
When put together, these individual blankets, create a 116 ft. X 50 ft. "ground cover" that yields a colossal image of lush desert blooms. Each blanket is made up of twenty-eight, 10 in. X 10 in. squares. Each square becomes a "pixel" in the overall image. The giant blanket will be installed in a vacant lot in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. And after installation, each blanket will be given to a homeless individual in need of cover.
If you don't want to commit to an entire blanket, join us and make a 10x10 square.
Please check with us first about colors, yarns etc.!!
This project needs to be very specific!!
Be a part of it!!
We are planning to charter a shuttle to be at the ceremony or the unveiling of this giant blanket, which will be in December.
